The Austrian Cultural Forum New York is part of a network of 30 Austrian Cultural Forums around the world. In the USA, there is a second Cultural Forum in Washington D.C. The Cultural Forums are an important instrument of Austrian foreign cultural policy. Organizationally and in terms of programming they are managed by the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs in Vienna. Each Cultural Forum focuses on the specific requirements of the respective local users and partners and is responsible for its own programming.
For more information on Austria’s foreign cultural policy, refer to the website of the Foreign Ministry (www.bmeia.gv.at).
