Following the festival at the ACFNY, MOMI will host this special program showcasing the winning films, as selected by the international jury headed by celebrated Austrian filmmaker Barbara Albert. Austrian and American films were presented together, with prizes awarded in three categories: best narrative film, best experimental/conceptual film, and best documentary/hybrid film. Join the Q&A afterwards with curator Stefanie Falkeis and some of the winning filmmakers.

ABOUT THE AASFF
The Austrian American Short Film Festival is the first bilateral festival featuring short films in all forms and genres by promising young artists and filmmakers from both Austria and the United States. Set to take place annually, the three-day festival is presented and hosted by the Austrian Cultural Forum New York, and the selection of winning films are screened at the Museum of the Moving Image (MOMI), New York, and the frame[o]ut Festival, Museums- Quartier, Vienna.
