ACFNY SUPPORTED | WORKSHOP
AUSTRIAN DAYS - FOR GERMAN LANGUAGE TEACHERS
FRIDAY MAR 10 - SUNDAY MAR 12
Do you teach German at a US University, College, or High School? Would you like to learn more about Austria? Would you like to expand your horizons and learn from first-hand experts about the latest trends in Austria including the newest teaching materials? Sign up to the "Österreich-Tage" workshop from March 10 - March 12 and network with your peers.
Held in German, this workshop is primarily designed for teachers of German in High Schools and at Universities. However, space permitting, it is open to other interested individuals. The focus will lie on collaborative learning by integrating Austrian film, literature and media, and the use of technology into the curriculum. The first day of the workshop will be held at the ACFNY's landmark-building in Midtown, and it will include a meet-and greet with the ACFNY's senior staff, a special-guided tour through the current exhibition Constructing Paradise and the library, followed by an evening reception.
