After 60 years of integration, the European Union appears to be in danger. The eurozone-leaders have recently been scrambling to figure out solutions to contain the recent sovereign debt crisis and to ensure financial stability in the European Union.
This panel discussion will be devoted to the latest developments toward tackling the financial crisis. Eminent scholars Sonja Puntscher-Riekmann and Benjamin Barber will talk about the Union's goals and principles, and whether it will in fact evolve to a "United States of Europe".
