PIANO RECITAL: KHATIA BUNIATISHVILI
Many musicians and journalists see this promising young woman as one of the great pianists of the future. Khatia Buniatishvili’s warm, sometimes elegiacally concise playing displays a close proximity to Georgian folk music. She gave a magnificent performance at the Austrian Cultural Forum in September of 2010, playing Frédéric Chopin and Franz Liszt, among others.
