PIANO RECITAL: TAKA KIGAWA IN CONCERT
An enchanted crowd packed the Austrian Cultural Forum on November 10th, 2010, when acclaimed Japanese pianist Taka Kigawa performed “Piano Music of the Second Viennese School”, with pieces by Arnold Schönberg, Anton Webern an Alban Berg. Kigawa is known for his extremely large and varied repertoire, ranging from the baroque to avant-garde compositions. According to the New York Times, “Kigawa’s feat deserves the highest praise”.
