VIENNA'S VEGETABLE ORCHESTRA on their first U.S.-Tour
“Playing with food never had such interesting results,” the Strait Times, Singapore, wrote in 2006. The Austrian Cultural Forum New York was proud to present the US-debut of the Vienna Vegetable Orchestra. This rather unconventional ensemble plays carrots and cucumbers instead of guitars and drums. On November 3rd, 2010, the New York Proctors Theater in Schenectady was filled with contemporary music, beat-oriented House, experimental Electronica, Free Jazz, Noise, and Dub to Clicks'n'Cuts.
