Born in Tyrol, but "reborn to a second life" in 1992 when he bought his first guitar, Martin Philadelphy has participated in a number of experimental rock, jazz, and avant-garde projects. He has written music for cabaret, theater, and film, acted on stage and in films, and founded bands performing in a wide variety of styles (from progressive folk to electronic), including Philadelphy Experience, Pfhouu, Paint, Philadelphy - Martinek, and 6to6 String Dezibel.
At the Austrian Cultural Forum, Martin Philadelphy will present a solo with unplugged song versions of his new projects (Philadelphy - Martinek, Martin Philadelphy/Robert Gernhardt). In the second half of the concert he will stage a Paint improvisation show.
