Drawing as Architecture: Frederick Kiesler and Architectural Design
The Drawing Center will host an evening of discussion at the Austrian Cultural Forum in the context of the exhibition Frederick Kiesler: Co-Realities.
Experts in the field of architecture, art, and design will explore the relationship between drawing and building in contemporary architecture by discussing the theories and work of Frederick Kiesler.
Participants will include Deborah Gans, Principal, Gans Studio and Associate Professor, Pratt Institute School of Architecture; Len Pitkowsky, architectural historian and studio assistant to Frederick Kiesler; Craig Schwitter, Principal, Buro Happold Engineers, Ltd.; and Marjorie Welish, artist/critic.
The evening will be moderated by Joao Ribas, Curator, The Drawing Center.
